The Dark Knight Rises movie is an American superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan, who co-wrote the screenplay with his brother Jonathan Nolan and the story with David S. Goyer.
The all-star cast of Dark Knight Rises includes Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Nestor Carbonell, and Morgan Freeman all reprising their previous roles. Newcomers Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway fill the the void of villans as the terrorist Bane and feline thief Catwoman. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, and Matthew Modine join the cast as well.
