Dead Singer’s Wedding Dress Stolen from Her London, England Home

Someone has stolen the late singer’s wedding dress from her home in the UK. Winehouse’s father is extremely upset about the whole situation saying it was “sickening that someone would steal something in the knowledge of its sentimental value.”

Sad news for the family of the late Amy Wineshouse, as the dress she wore on her wedding day (pictured above) has reportedly been stolen from her London, England home.

“Her wedding dress was only a little cotton thing, a hundred quid at best in the shops,” stated her father. “Whoever nicked it realised its significance and knew it had an extra value.”

Only one other item appears to have been swiped, a black and white newsprint dress Amy wore on Jools Holland. “We are all baffled as to why some of her designer dresses didn’t go too. There were a couple from Dolce & Gabbana worth a fortune.”

Amy’s family believes the items were stolen from her home, while her belongings were in the process of being sorted out. “There was a window of about two days while that process was underway when the dresses could have been taken,” Amy’s dad continued. “A few people were involved and there was some coming and going. We’re going through everything to see what else, if anything, has been lifted.”

Let’s hope this is all just a misunderstanding or the items are simply misplaced – and they are returned / found as quickly as possible.

I bet they stole it thinking that there were drugs stashed somewhere inside. Well, at least that was my first thought.
